Make Money Online

2 years ago next month I started out on my quest to try to figure out how to make money online. I don't mean the odd $50 here and there, I mean a proper full time income that will offer a me a residual income to supplement my pension

It has been a long hard road, but during that time I have learned many a valuable lesson including how not to make money online, but finally I am slowly finding out the secret to internet success.

Even the most successful network marketers will tell you that in the first few years of trying to make money online, they made many expensive mistakes, so it is heartening to know that I am not alone. Nobody likes falling for the scams but it would appear that it is almost a sure inevitability for those who are just starting out, as the opportunities have a very clever way of sounding like the most amazing way to make money online, offering overnight success.

The most important lesson I have learned is to keep it simple. Find a couple of businesses you are happy with and stop being lured into every other opportunity that pops up that sounds like the answer to your prayers. I have been tempted by far too many opportunities and have lived to regret many of them

It is possible to get started online spending very little money. Avoid any opportunity that asks for a monthly subscription until you know whether that particular site will help you make money online. There are always free options that allow you to test drive the site before making a decision.

Avoid from most MLM companies, as your upline will only be interested in how they make money online and you will be left to fend for yourself. You will often find it almost impossible to make contact with your upline and when you do they will just tell you to copy what they are doing. Duplication is the name of the game, except the truth of the matter is not everyone has the same skills, so duplication just doesn't work.

If you are determined to successfully make money online it is important to have a plan, stay focused and try to do as much as possible without spending money. There is lots of free information and free training online as well as free ways to advertise your business, so keep the cost down to a minimum

The get rich quick schemes can be very tempting but best to avoid them unless you have the experience to know where they are going and how to make the most out of the potential they have to offer. To make money online you need to be patient and be prepared to put in lots of time and effort to reach your goal.

Just remember Rome wasn't built in a day. It will take a plan, focus, stickability, time, patience, determination and sheer hard work if you are to experience the success you desire. If you are serious about making money online you will need to develop all of those attributes and also be prepared to make mistakes, pick yourself up and start again.
